SelmaMeyerMentoring

The joint-university SelmaMeyerMentoring programme of the Heinrich Heine University (HHU), which unites several university schools, is open to scientists from Wuppertal, too. As part of the cooperation agreement, the universities created placed in the different funding lines, which will be free of charge for participants from both universities.

The successful mentoring programme supports young female researchers in planning and developing their academic or non-academic career. Identifying and developing personal competencies and establishing a network are systematically included into the individual career planning.

The three-stage programme addresses doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and researchers at an advanced stage in their qualification process as a university lecturer. It lasts for 12 to 18 months and consists of the three following modules: mentoring relationship, workshops and meetings of the network.
